As part of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2015, Indonesia as the Guest of Honour country will “Spice Up” the city with exciting culinary programs inside the book fair and around the city of Frankfurt from 13-18 October 2015.

Visit the Frankfurt Book Fair to join culinary workshops, cooking shows, discussions and cook book launches by Indonesia’s famous chefs and culinary figures. You will taste our exotic food from many places in Indonesia. Students and young adults could join our fun cooking classes as part in the Classroom of the Future program.  To indulge your senses, we will display more than 50 indigenous spices in our Lesung (giant wooden mortar) while enjoying a variety of Indonesia’s premium coffees and teas at the Spice Island Café inside the Indonesia Pavilion.

Around the city of Frankfurt, experience Indonesia’s famous street food culture by spotting our Spice it Up! Gerobak Kaki Lima (Five Legged Street Carts) in some historical places around downtown Frankfurt. We will show you our unique combination of cuisine, performance and literary cultures with Kaki Lima.  And do not miss the opportunity to dine at Frankfurt’s famous restaurants for an Indonesian experience brought to you by Indonesia’s star chefs with your loved ones.
